"WOMEN & CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL" appears in a smaller font under "ALEXIAN BROTHERS"; there is a design appearing to the right of the "N" in "ALEXIAN" and above the "HERS" in "BROTHERS" that consists of four elements: a larger oval suggesting the head of a woman, with two ellipses extending below the oval to suggest the arms of a woman embracing a child, which is represented by a smaller oval appearing within the ellipses and under the larger oval.
